Documents first
Before collection, confirm the lot has been paid for and released. Send the correct buyer reference, lot number, collection instructions and authorised contact details. The auction may ask for identification or a transporter booking slot. Those requirements remain the buyer’s responsibility.
Describe the condition shown in the listing. If the wheels are missing, locked or badly damaged, say so. If keys are unavailable, tell us before the quote. A non-runner that rolls freely is very different from a shell that needs specialist loading.
Access and waiting time
Auction yards can be busy. Site queues, missed slots or a vehicle that is not released may add waiting time. We explain known allowances before booking and contact you if conditions change. Clear preparation reduces avoidable delay.
At delivery, ensure there is enough space for a flatbed to unload safely. Private drives, narrow roads, underground car parks and steep entrances should be discussed in advance. We can agree a nearby safe handover point where direct access is unsuitable.
Fully insured recovery work
Our trucks and drivers are insured and licensed to undertake recovery work. Ask for the relevant cover details if your dealer, auction or storage provider needs them.
EV and hybrid transport
Tell us if the vehicle is electric or hybrid and whether it has collision or battery damage. We plan wheel-off-road transport and never improvise around a suspected high-voltage fault.
Transparent fixed-rate basis
Planned quotes consider mileage, vehicle size, access, condition and timing. The agreed scope is fixed clearly; material changes at collection are explained before extra work begins.
