Copart lots are often damaged, non-running or missing keys. The listing only tells part of the story, so we plan the loading method before a truck travels.
Send the lot number, the yard, your buyer number and the release or gate pass details once payment has cleared. We book around the yard's collection rules and arrive with the equipment the listing suggests the car needs.
Tell us about missing wheels, seized brakes, deployed airbags or no keys. A car that rolls freely loads very differently from one that has to be skated or winched.
We deliver to your address, a garage, a bodyshop or a storage unit. Tell us about narrow roads, steep drives or parking limits so the flatbed can unload safely.
Yards can start charging storage if a lot sits too long after the sale. Book early and we plan the earliest practical collection so fees do not build up.
BCA sales tend to have more running, trade-ready vehicles, but collection still depends on release paperwork and the site's slots.

Salvage cars are the reason most buyers need a recovery truck rather than a trade plate driver. Each type of damage changes the loading plan.
A car that has stood for months often has brakes seized to the discs, or a gearbox stuck in park. We bring wheel skates or dollies so the car can be pulled onto the bed without dragging tyres or damaging the deck.
If a corner has no wheel, or the suspension has collapsed, the car cannot roll. Tell us which corners are affected. We plan a winch-and-skate load and check the ground clearance before we commit.
Loose bumpers, bonnets and glass are secured before the car moves so nothing falls onto the road in transit. Airbag-deployed cars are loaded without anyone needing to sit in them.
Water- and fire-damaged cars can leak fluids. Electric and hybrid salvage needs extra care: tell us about battery damage, warning messages or any sign of heat. We never load a suspected damaged high-voltage battery without a safe plan.
Without keys the steering lock may be engaged. We plan for a car that cannot be steered, which usually means skates under the front wheels and a straight winch line.
If the car is in worse condition than described, we stop and call you before loading. You decide whether to proceed, with any change in method or price explained first.
Most wasted auction trips come from a lot that is not released, or a yard slot that was missed. We check both before the truck leaves.
Before we travel we confirm with you that the lot is paid in full and released, and that we have the release note, gate pass or collection reference the site asks for. If the yard needs an authority letter or the buyer's ID, we tell you in advance. We do not set off on a lot that only “should be” released.
Auction sites have their own opening hours, booking slots, queues and safety rules, such as hi-vis clothing and staying with the vehicle. Some sites load the car for us, others expect the driver to do it. We plan the arrival time around the slot and explain any waiting allowance before you book.

The car is photographed again when it is unloaded and handed to the named recipient. If anything differs from the listing or the collection photos, you hear about it straight away, not days later.
