Junction 10
Junction 10 links the M6 with the A454 towards Willenhall and Wolverhampton, and it is one of the busiest junctions on this part of the motorway. Queues back up onto the main carriageway at peak times, so a breakdown here needs a clear marker post number.

Inside the A4148 ring road, streets are narrow and the pedestrian areas are off-limits to a recovery truck.

If the car still moves, pull into a car park rather than stopping on the ring road. Multi-storey car parks can have height limits, so tell us the level you are on.

A452 and A461
The A452 Chester Road runs past Brownhills towards Sutton Coldfield, and the A461 heads out towards Lichfield. These are fast roads, so move the car onto a verge or into a lay-by if you can.

Some lanes are narrow and have weight limits. We check the route first so the truck can reach you without getting stuck on a single-track road.
